Yeah, I’m back at it. “What’s it?”, you ask.

Writing, taking photos, blogging and publishing work. Honestly, I never stopped creating amazing meals or making media about food, even through a major life transition from Brooklyn back to my hometown, Evanston, IL. I’m thrilled to be back and to have the energy and bandwidth to take on new artistic and culinary projects.

I’m starting at the Third Coast Review website, as a new content creator for the reinvigorated food section! I’m so excited to join the team there again. (I joined the editorial team back in 2015 when Gaper’s Block stopped publishing, helped launch the site, and wrote the tagline in a fit of brilliance at a group meeting.)

So, watch this space as the Bites column takes off. Expect short, sweet prose and crisp, delicious photos about local food and snacks—coming at you once a week-ish. And keep your eyes on this site as my exploration and passion for food continues.
